Review of the Sony VAIO VG2
Sony VAIO VGN-CR420E/L 14.1" Laptop (2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 Processor, 3 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard Drive, DVD Drive, Vista Premium) Blue
This Sony VAIO is absolutely stunning. The blue of the case is a deep indigo blue and will make heads turn when you pull this little number out of its case. Not only is this computer good looking but also it is also lightweight and very thin.
The one button start DVD player lets you watch a DVD without booting up the system. This is great if you want to use your laptop for an entertainment player when you are out and about.
This price is particularly well priced for what you get. The Sony name means quality and you would expect to pay more for this computer. It is mostly useful for the average computer user. Gamers won't find this machine powerful enough to withstand the higher end graphic intensive games.
While this computer is competitively priced for a Sony you could still find a computer that has a bit more to offer for the money. But in terms of quality and customer service Sony is a good option. The stunning looks of the machine also give it an edge if that is something that is important to you.
The price of a Sony laptop has certainly come down a long way from where it once was, but so have the majority of laptop computers. When you are shopping for computers the reputation of the brand means a great deal. This particular computer will give you a great deal of computing power and a good solid manufacturer behind it.
It is speedy enough for most computing needs, but you might notice a small lag time when you have more than one thing going on at a time. Not too noticeable for the average user. But if you are a heavy computer user and your computing necessity is to multitask this might cause some irritation.
