HP Pavilion TX1420US 12.1" Laptop (AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TL-66, 3 GB RAM, 250 GB Hard Drive, Vista Premium) Black Wave
This little tablet PC is a pretty good deal for the money. It is equipped with 3 GB ram and a 250 GB hard drive. It's pretty compact and has the cool feature of a 180-degree swiveling display. The one problem that can be seen with this tablet computer is its inability to let the user send emails that are written with the stylus. There is recognition software that will convert the handwritten text to typed text, but you will not be able to send a document that keeps your handwriting as it is.
This is considered an entertainment laptop first and a tablet second. It is in fact the first hybrid tablet PC. It has all of the entertainment features you would look for in a standard laptop with the addition of the tablet design.
Some users found the screen a little difficult to see and could have a tendency to get blurry occasionally. The computer also doesn't have all of the functions of a touch screen computer except the swivel screen. If a true tablet is what you are after then this is probably not the best choice. However, if you want the functionality of a standard laptop with a screen that swivels for an easier time watching a movie or making a presentation you might find a great deal of use for this computer.
The price is very good for the average computer and what you will get for your money. Folks who are looking for a tablet computer might expect to pay more and they would for this one if it had all of the features of a tablet.
It is at the end of the day, a great entertainment laptop with a cool swivel screen. If that is what you are looking for the price is right on this one and you will be getting yourself a real bargain.
